It was interesting if you know Sanma-san but the new format focuses too much on the guest imo

I think it’s just because it was Sanma-san though. When is it that he’s never the focus of anything? And them guys just never really knew how to handle him (too polite), except for Nino. Even Sanma looked like he was expecting Nino to come at him (hence the ‘wish upon a shooting star’ schtick).  And even then Nino looked a bit helpless compared to the 2 times Sanma guested on HnA before (note him unable to remain seated on his chair). Ohno’s questions interested me, and half the reason is because Ohno is actually asking the questions. Saw some people despairing that they might do away with the members’ individual corners, just because of this one ep. For me it’s highly unlikely (MJ’s corners are too popular, for one thing). But at the same time, idt we’ll get back regular Anishi for next ep either since it’s Cream Stew, who’s actually guested on Anishi everytime they make significant changes to the program. I suppose it’ll be more talk just for the sake of talking before we get guests who are there to promote whatever and then we’ll get something like the regular Anishi, featuring more Arashi.  

True. They also specifically said it was a Sanma-san SP so it would make sense to just focus on him. I personally found the episode enjoyable, but I could totally see why someone who watches Anishi just for Arashi (esp. the intl fans who don’t really know much about Japanese TV) would find it boring. I guess Cream Stew’s Ueda is a more familiar face to Arashi so I think we’ll get a pretty different episode this week.

Also, the application pages for Sho’s & Aiba’s corners are still up in their website, so that’s a good sign. lol
